Happy Saturday the January 23rd everyone?...yeah really need to work on my intro's. Here is today's Investing section Illustration for the Financial Post.

Swimming In Risk: The bond market used to be a cornerstone of every investors portfolio. However nowadays buying into bonds is very risky, and if investors want safety in this dangerous market. One has to be careful of the many risks swimming around.

I think this is the third piece I've done regarding bonds. I must admit when I see an article almost similar to one I have approached before I get a little nervous. However one always has to remember, the beauty of illustration is that you can approach one subject one million and one ways.

Investing Feature this week: Since Avatar's gigantic success, investors have taken an interest in the re surging film market. Where movie goers spent over 1Billion dollars last year. I was asked to create a simple image of people looking at a blank screen, and they would place a graphic in the middle. It was very different since most of the time I was working on it I was looking at a blank section.

First post of the New Year!!! Hope everyone had a fun and weight filling holidays!! There’s always something about the holidays that I love besides getting gifts...but really, it’s the getting gifts part.
