This was an image done all today during life drawing class. The theme that we had to work with was Femme Fatale. The aim was to work with the costumed model into an illustration that suits the theme. After I drew from the model, I scanned and edited it digitally. My aim was to have a more mysterious deadly look to it, yet having it a little saucy hence the slender necks.

So, i've decided I will be selling some prints of my work. If anyone is interested the works that I will be giving prints of are all on my site juansolon.carbonmade.com, so scroll down to take a look! (If you want something different on my blog let me know and I will happily arrange something!)

The print will be high quality on Hahnemühle fine art paper. 8.5" x 11" for $15. The 3 page narratives that come in a set are $35 (for the set of 3pages).

This was an illustration done in relation to an article about anti-aging. I took abit of a personal approach to this. Instead of illustrating the article, I took my own personal opinion that I got from it. I believed the quest for anti-aging is just societies fear of the finite, that nothing lasts forever. As we grow older age becomes more of a burden that we carry.

This short story is about me and my dog going for a walk. The last 2 weeks I was home alone so pretty much it was just me and him! That experience inspired me to do a story about our walking adventures.

Heres the first piece I did for Visual Dialogue with Rick Sealock. He really pushes your ideas an images, and even still when I finished I still have alot to fix! This image is about David Dachovny and his sex addiction problem haha. The idea was to take an article related to one of deadly sins. The first image was originally just him eating the grapes that look like boobs but I pushed the image more to make it more shocking.
