So I bought a ton of books at the book sale this week (by ton I mean like 5) and realized that I should start exposing myself to different pen artists' and look at their approaches to the medium. Anyways after reading some books this is my first "influenced" doodle if you will. Its nothing finished and fancy but I'm pleased with some things that are working here. I was watching Legend of Sleepy Hallow with Johnny Depp yesterday, and I totally loved it. The settings were so dark and everything seemed like a story book. I had my sketchbook out while watching so I wanted to draw my own Ichabod Crane!. I felt like flat coloring it in photoshop so I did har har.
